All Raw Honey (raw means not heated) will crystallise over time, to return to a runny state place the jar in warm water. Do not refrigerate your honey.

Add a honey dipper for £5.00 - hand turned here in Devon using local beech. Each dipper is unique, and will be selected as a lucky dip from our honey dipper stock, but please be assured, they are beautiful & really compliment our honey.

Ling Heather honey captures the late summer floral bloom of the heather moors.

We migrate our hives to our local moorland in Autumn with new comb, removing their summer honey, ensuring that the nectar collected is pure heather. The hives are brought home, after 4-6 weeks and the honey is extracted by crushing the comb. We then return the summer honey frames to the hives, ensuring they have winter stores.

This distinct aromatic, floral honey is jelly-like in consistency and is highly prized, often compared to the manuka honey for its wealth of anti-bacterial and enzyme rich goodness.

Ling honey is the most prized of all the honeys, dependent on weather, the quality of the heather, and of course the bees. A time-consuming process for the beekeepers, but once sampled, you will hopefully understand the Ling Heather honey for its worth.
